Support the Bikery!
At the end of July, I am taking part in a benefit ride for the Bikery, a Cycles of Change community bike shop that provides affordable used bikes and teaches bike mechanics to youth in the San Antonio/Fruitvale neighborhood in Oakland. I've committed to raising $150 - and I’m asking for your help to meet that goal. The Bikery is a friendly neighborhood community bike shop, run by an all people of color collective of Oakland educators. Committed to making bikes accessible to everyone, the Bikery offers a range of used bikes for sale, low cost repairs, youth internships, job training, classes and community events. They also have a community repair space where you can work on your own bike, or find out about opportunities to get a bike if you can't afford one, through our youth Earn-A-Bike and adult UpCycle programs. You can help by sponsoring me - I've committed to raising $150 to support Cycles of Change and the Bikery - can you help? Anything you can donate would mean a lot to me, and everyone at Cycles of Change. Your donation and words of encouragement are deeply appreciated!!
