Help Support Community Bike Programs!

Another tour? Yup! Please help us meet our fundraising goal of $1500! And we will match every dollar up to $250 towards supporting these wonderful programs that in turn support low-income communities!

We’re so excited to be going on another bike tour together, this time as a family unit (aka Critical Mass-ita) in support of some amazing community bike programs, and I hope you’ll support me by making a donation!

This August, Elisa, Caio Maré and I are riding 100 miles through the Bay Area with a community of riders who are supporting two great organizations. Cycles of Change and its community bike shop, the Bikery, provide affordable used bikes and teach bike mechanics to youth in the San Antonio/Fruitvale neighborhood in Oakland. The California Field School takes young people on adventure learning bike tours exploring social and environmental justice.  I've committed to raising $1,500 - can you help me meet my goal?

We're passionate about supporting these two organizations because they share a goal of connecting young people to the natural world by increasing access to bicycles, and I think that promoting biking is one of the most effective (and fun) tools to create stronger, more resilient communities.

I’ve seen first hand, as a trip leader, what a game changer it can be to get someone access to reliable transportation that also gets them outdoors. As participants in a recent California Field School trip said: “I learned that I am capable of doing more than what I think I can.”

Can you help other young people realize their strength and get outdoors?

We've committed to raising $1,500 for this trip -  anything you can donate would mean a lot to us, and everyone at Cycles of Change and the California Field School. AND most importantly, our Bay Area's youth! Your donation and words of encouragement are deeply appreciated!!

Vamo lá!
